For I.CODE, adopting a raison d'être and commitments, and becoming a company with a mission, means following in the footsteps of others, giving them greater strength and depth, and enabling everyone to play a part in their daily lives.
What does mission-driven mean ?
Introduced in France by the PACTE law in 2019, a mission-driven company is a business that, in addition to its economic objective, adopts a raison d'être and social and environmental commitments that it enshrines in its articles of association. To be officially recognized, it must embody this raison d'être, which will guide its strategic decisions, define new social and environmental objectives in line with this raison d'être, set up a monitoring system to ensure that these objectives are achieved, notably by an internal mission committee, and have its commitments verified by an independent third-party organization. This model enables the company to reconcile economic performance with a positive impact on the planet.
